Lillian and Barry Jones’ son Michael (3) was hospitalized Tuesday. He was not breathing after falling into a pond for a period of time. He was breathing on his own on Wednesday and is being watched closely. Pray for Michael’s protection and healing.
Tom O’Dwyer’s father, Tom Sr., passed away Wednesday afternoon after a long battle with esophageal cancer. Pray for Tom, his mother, and their family as they grieve.
Kay Giesecke was informed she has no visible cancer at this time (a mass was removed last week). Her doctors did not schedule any chemotherapy. This is a huge praise. Pray for her continued protection.
Jim Hogan is suffering from an internal infection and a sore on his heel that will not heal (due to infection). Pray for strength and healing and for Joann as she cares for him.
John Cooper’s mother, Peggy, remains hospitalized as she receives aggressive treatment for lung cancer. Pray for successful treatments and for her physical stamina.
Rodney Stromlund was informed this week that the cancer was successfully contained in his thyroid (removed a few weeks ago) and his body is cancer free at this time.

Outreach
Al and Gladys Platt serve with CAM International in Dallas.  The Platts are seeking to evangelize and disciple
through Bible correspondence courses in Spanish throughout the US and Puerto Rico.  They greatly need more people to help them grade the Bible Correspondence course exams.  Please also pray for Al’s health, as he has been diagnosed with Polymyalgia Rheumatica for which there is no cure.
Al and Pat Anderson serve with SIL in Mexico.  Al serves as Website Productions Manager for the Mexico branch
and Pat serves as Furlough Personnel Administrator with Wycliffe USA.  This coming month the field programs leadership will be meeting and Al will be reviewing the teams that he supervises. These meetings are May 22 - 26. Pray that Al might accurately reflect what is going on in each team's work.  Please also pray for Al’s health.
